"Mark Pitts Launches New Venture Cofvnders, Steps Down as RCA Records President."
COFVNDERS is a multimedia management company founded by Mark Pitts. We build careers, produce tours, and bridge creative economies from New York to Los Angeles to Tokyo.
Music travels faster than it ever has. So should the people who make it. We built COFVNDERS to move with artists, not behind them: a management company for an era where the stage, the screen, and the stream are one room.
COFVNDERS is a working room, not a logo. We're managers, A&Rs, producers, songwriters, engineers, tour architects and cultural translators who already live in the places music is actually made. We built the company around the people we move with: artists in LA and New York, studio partners in Tokyo and Seoul, promoters across the circuit. The point of putting a roof over it is so none of that work has to pretend to be a side project anymore.
Three disciplines. One roof. We don't hand artists off at the door of a label or a promoter. We're in the room from the first demo to the last encore.
Day-to-day career architecture for artists and creative founders. We represent talent across records, publishing, touring, brand and screen, and we negotiate like we built the house.
Co-headline arena runs, routing, packaging, and creative. COFVNDERS produces top-line live experiences with Live Nation and AEG, starting with The R&B Tour (Usher x Chris Brown, late June in Denver).
Long-horizon initiatives that cross borders. The flagship is Tokyo Sound Continuum, pairing American producers and songwriters with Japanese creators in service of an export pipeline for Japanese talent.
Usher and Chris Brown co-headline a thirty-city arena run, produced by COFVNDERS in partnership with Live Nation. Opens late June, Denver.
A songwriting and creator residency uniting American producers with Japanese artists, supported by Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs. Built to architect a long-term export engine for Japanese talent.
Mark Pitts spent four decades building the modern R&B and hip-hop canon from the inside. As President of RCA Records, he oversaw a roster that reshaped the Billboard charts. Before that, as founder and CEO of ByStorm Entertainment, he developed and broke generation-defining artists starting in 1998.
COFVNDERS is the next chapter: a company structured for how music, touring, publishing, brand and international talent actually move in 2026. Pitts continues to consult for RCA and Sony Music on artists he developed.
"I'm feeling more energized than ever about what I'm building with COFVNDERS. To still feel this level of excitement is a blessing in itself."

A visual log of the collective at work: Tokyo studios, LA late nights, the people the records go through before they ever leave the building.
If you're building something that belongs on a stage, a screen, or a stream, we want to hear it. Pitches, demos, tour decks, briefs.
